About Angus
Angus has been a University Senior Lecturer and Researcher for over 30 years mainly in the fields of Biochemistry, Clinical Pharmacology (Nursing and Paramedicine) and Immunology. He is a past research fellow of both La Trobe University (Melbourne) and the Australian Neuromuscular Research Institute (QEII Medical Centre, Perth).
He has been an Accredited Practicing Dietitian since 2012, initially specialising in diabetes care, weight management, and working with clients exploring the links between their mental health and ongoing specific nutritional needs. Angus is a full member of the Dietitians Association of Australia and the Australian Diabetes Educators Association and is also an uncredentialled Diabetes Educator, having attained a Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education and Management from University Technology Sydney in 2016.
He takes a holistic approach to Dietetics, integrating dietetic care with the client’s specific medical and cultural needs on an individual basis.
